February 7th Modesto Mayoral Runoff Mail-in Election.

There will be seven ballot receiving sites for the February 7th Modesto Mayoral Run-off Mail in Election.

  • Dale Commons, 3900 Dale Road
  • King Kennedy Memorial Center, 601 N. Martin Luther King Dr
  • Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 1600 Carver Rd
  • Bethel Church, 2361 Scenic Drive
  • Modesto Covenant Church, 913 Floyd Ave.
  • Sylvan Improvement Club, 2545 Sylvan Ave.
  • Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters, 1021 I St.

These sites will be open for voters to drop off their ballots from 7a.m. until 8p.m. on Election Day, February 7.

General Election--June 2012

The next regularly scheduled election for all voters in California is June 5, 2012.

It is the general election for California executive offices and state and federal legislative offices and propositions. Some counties will have local offices on the ballot. The Secretary of State's Upcoming Elections page is a valuable resource.

The Modesto Mayoral forum will be broadcast at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays until the election on Comcast Channel 7, Charter Channel 19 and government channels of AT&T U-verse.

Registering to Vote

To vote in the November, 2011 election, you must register to vote by October 24, 2011 (15 days in advance of the election date).

A person is entitled to register to vote in Stanislaus County if they are:

  • A U.S. citizen
  • A resident of California
  • A resident of Stanislaus County
  • Not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony
  • At least 18 years of age on the date of the election

Voters who have moved or changed their name can fill out new registration cards to update their information. For more information, call the League office at 209-524-1698.
